Anyone can take the ski lift uphill. Those who want to get more out of the wintry wonder world set off on foot on a ski tour. Step by step you make your way up into the mountains, peace and quiet enveloping everything and all you hear is the snow crunching and your own breath. Sounds appealing, doesn’t it?

You’ll be surprised how many options there are for ski touring all around our activity hotel in South Tyrol and in the Reschen Pass holiday region. Especially idyllic areas for touring include the Rojen or Langtaufers valleys at the foot of the Ötztal Alps. Here, nature is indeed still untouched – and thus moves ski tourers’ hearts almost to tears. Or is it thanks to the wintry fragrant-cold mountain air?
