ABOUT US

A rich history. And genuine hospitality in a family atmosphere ...
One family, one goal: your well-being. Your well-being is what it's all about when we welcome you as a guest, thoroughly spoil you, give you holiday moments that are both restorative and stimulating. That's exactly what we can give you. It's what we have enjoyed doing for years. What we love. Day in day out

Our family-run hotel was built in 1969 by Franz Helmuth Raffeiner and Margarete Renner, whom everyone affectionately calls "Mummy". They were the ones who put in all that courageous pioneering work that laid the cornerstone of our now renowned hospitality. Hospitality by which Franz and Margarete's children also set great store. So it comes as no surprise that all 6 children have committed their enthusiasm to the family business, each in their own way. Elmar ('Elly') is the man behind the bar, German ('Gerry') gets people dancing in the nightspot; Claudia's massages relax body and mind, Petra is the 'person you can always turn to' whilst gleaming precious metals are the great passion of the goldsmith Michaela and the jeweller Nadja. In 2002 Petra and Reini took over the hotel. They have been married since 1993 and are the proud parents of two daughters, Milena and Madea. Petra greets you with her genuinely friendly smile at reception whilst Reini, the gourmet, thrill seeker and wine buff is always happy to enjoy a glass of something good with you in the evening, excels in the kitchen and makes sure guests have a great time hiking with him.

After 1980 and 2002 the time came for more renovation in 2015: a new frontage, new rooms, new sauna attractions... What's remained the same are the friendliness, the closeness, the commitment to well-being, your well-being, which is what we have at heart.
